ABOUT YOGA CLASS TODAY

Finding a yoga class can be, simpler…

Yoga Class Today helps you find local, in-person yoga classes happening today—without searching endlessly across the internet.

our philosophy

Less content. More practice.

Class information is everywhere and often difficult to compare. A search for “yoga today” will lead to fragmented collection of search results, calendars, and pre recorded videos.

Where can I practice yoga today?

YCT was created to make this practical question easier to answer.

a useful local catalog

Start with today. Then find what works for you.

YCT does not decide which class is right for you. It reduces the searching required to see your relevant local options, then lets you decide where and when you want to practice.

How it works step 1. Start with today, see classes happening today and tonight from local instructors.
How it works step 2. Choose your area or filter by neighborhood and nearby areas.
How it works step 3. Compare your options, time, teacher, style and location near you so you can choose with confidence.
You still filter one clean local catalog.
Not the entire internet.
Grow with Purpose

Local first. Useful before bigger.

YCT begins in Sacramento because a local catalog is only useful when it reflects a real community. New cities should open when enough instructors and local interest exist to make finding a class genuinely practical—not simply because a larger map looks more impressive.

Current. Local. Accurate. Calm. Useful.

our approach

Built for practice, not attention.

Yoga Classes Today helps you find a class and then get on with your day. It is not meant to keep you scrolling, posting, or competing for visibility.

A yoga instructor warmly welcomes a student at a studio entrance, with a phone set aside nearby.

No follower counts

The best class for you might come from someone new to you. We focus on helpful information, not how many people are watching.

A phone rests beside a rolled yoga mat as a person walks into a calm yoga class.

No endless feeds

We do not distract you with a constant stream of content or alerts. Find what you need, plan your practice, and get on withh your day.

A person views three equally displayed, unbranded yoga-class notices on a community bulletin board.

No pay-to-win placements

Every class has an equal chancve to be found. We do not sell priority, ads, or shortcuts. Quality rises on it’s own.

That is why YCT does not maintain Facebook, Instagram, or X accounts. The product should help you find a class—not become another account asking for your attention.
Instructors can promote. YCT does not need to.
FOR PEOPLE WHO PRACTICE AND TEACH

Made for both sides of the class.

A useful local catalog has to work for both: people looking for a class and instructors making one available.

Looking for a class today

See current local options, then decide what works for your day: time, place, style, teacher, cost, and how to attend.

Teaching a class today

Share the practical details people need to find your class—without needing to build an audience or compete for visibility.

One local catalog. A clearer path from looking to practicing.

Why I built Yoga Class Today

I’ve practiced yoga—sometimes consistently, sometimes not—for nearly 24 years, alongside rock climbing, running, a career in technology, and the full life of being a dedicated father. From packed studio classes to yoga and climbing retreats in the high desert, beach practices at Lost Rocks to pop-up classes in Squamish, British Columbia, yoga has remained a steady presence through it all.

Yoga became part of how I moved, recovered, slowed my mind, and paid attention.

I built YCT becuase finding a class today should be simple, local and focused on practice – not platforms and performance.
